#85.Blog my 101.Well I have made a start and have obviously set up my blog. I have had a play around with the settings and layouts etc as this is the first time that I have created/used one. So I've been learning new things as I go along.

#76.Start researching my family tree. Today I have made a start on researching my family tree. I am using a programme called "My Heritige Family Tree". It's very easy to use and update, but if you do use it I would advise you not to use the publishing function as it seemed to duplicate all the information.
So far I have gone back 5 generations of my side of the family, but I just need to get some dates from my Nan on Thursday when I see her.
I'm really looking forward to getting further along with my research.

Just a quick update
#4.Get a flickr account. Although this was done on the 4th January I thought it was a good thing to add to my 101 as it is something that I had never done before.

#5.Join more flickr groups. Originally I set up my flickr account so that I could join HPAD, but as I've gotten more into it I thought I would get involved a bit more. So now I have joined two more groups, they are

The Mission:
Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days.

The Criteria:
Tasks must be specific (ie. no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (ie. represent some amount of work on my part).

Why 1001 Days?
Many people have created lists in the past - frequently simple goals such as New Year's resolutions. The key to beating procrastination is to set a deadline that is realistic. 1001 Days (about 2.75 years) is a better period of time than a year, because it allows you several seasons to complete the tasks, which is better for organising and timing some tasks such as overseas trips or outdoor activities.

Start date: Thursday 15th January 2009
End date: Thursday 13th October 2011
